Welcome to my online home.

I teach at Grace College in beautiful Winona Lake, Indiana.  I earned my Ph.D. in Communication Studies from the University of Memphis in 2013, writing a dissertation entitled: An Appeal to the World: The Controversial Rhetoric of Samuel Adams.

My research interests include political rhetoric, presidential rhetoric, rhetorical criticism, rhetorical theory, rhetorical history, argumentation and pedagogy. Though I enjoy research, my passion really lies in the teaching side of academia which you can read more about by clicking on the teaching tab above. Please explore this site for more information about me and my academic pursuits. Feel free to contact me with any questions or comments.

Thanks for visiting.
