Welcome to my online home.

I have been teaching at Grace College in beautiful Winona Lake, Indiana since 2013. I earned my Ph.D. in Communication Studies from the University of Memphis writing a dissertation entitled: An Appeal to the World: The Controversial Rhetoric of Samuel Adams.

Teaching is my passion and I am proud to practice civically-minded, rhetorically-grounded pedagogy in all my courses. You can read more about this by clicking on the teaching tab above. My research interests include political rhetoric, presidential rhetoric, rhetorical criticism, rhetorical theory, rhetorical history, argumentation and pedagogy. Please explore this site for more information about me and my academic pursuits. Feel free to contact me with any questions or comments.

Thanks for visiting.
